Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Noah rejected the messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 107 so fear Allah, and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they do? 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 therefore, judge decisively between me and them; and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
