The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By heaven of the constellations, 1 And [by] the promised Day 2 And by oath of the day that is a witness and by oath of a day in which the people present themselves. 3 The companions of the pit were killed 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel: 5 Lo! [With glee do] they contemplate that [fire,] 6 Witnessing what they had done to the believers! 7 whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due, 8 Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness of all things. 9 Verily, as for those who persecute believing men and believing women, and thereafter do not repent, hell's suffering awaits them: yea, suffering through fire awaits them! 10 But those who believe and do good deeds shall be rewarded with gardens watered by flowing rivers. That is the supreme triumph. 11 VERILY, thy Sustainer's grip is exceedingly strong! 12 It is He who originates and repeats. 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 The Lord of the glorious Throne, 15 Doer (without let) of all that He intends. 16 Has there reached you the story of the soldiers - 17 Of Pharaoh and the Thamud? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 and God is behind them, encompassing. 20 Nay! This is a Glorious Quran, 21 inscribed on a well-guarded Tablet. 22
