The Mountain (Al-Toor)
49 verses, revealed in Mecca after Prostration (Al-Sajdah) before Kingship (Al-Mulk)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I swear by the Mountain, 1 And a Scripture inscribed 2 On a parchment scroll unrolled, 3 by the House inhabited 4 By the roof elevated. 5 And [by] the sea filled [with fire], 6 verily your Lord's chastisement shall come to pass, 7 and no one will be able to prevent it. 8 On the day when the heaven shall move from side to side 9 And the mountains will move with a visible movement. 10 Will be the day of woe for those 11 Who are in [empty] discourse amusing themselves. 12 The day on which they shall be driven away to the fire of hell with violence. 13 This is the fire which you used to give the lie to. 14 Is it magic or do you not still see? 15 "Burn ye therein: the same is it to you whether ye bear it with patience, or not: Ye but receive the recompense of your (own) deeds." 16 Surely the God-fearing shall be in Gardens and bliss, 17 rejoicing in that their Lord has given them; and their Lord shall guard them against the chastisement of Hell. 18 (They will be told): “Eat and drink to your hearts' content as a reward for your deeds.” 19 (They shall be) reclining on couches ranged in rows and We shall wed them to houris (virgins of Paradise) with large wide eyes. 20 To those who have attained to faith We shall unite their offspring who have also followed them in faith, and We shall not let any of their good deeds go unrewarded; every human being is a pledge for whatever he has earned. 21 And We aided them with fruit and meat, whatever they desire. 22 They will exchange with one another a cup [of wine] wherein [results] no ill speech or commission of sin. 23 ۞ And their boy servants shall go around them, as if they were pearls, safely hidden. 24 They will ask each other questions, 25 They will say: "Behold, aforetime - when we were [still living] in the midst of our kith and kin - we were full of fear [at the thought of God's displeasure]: 26 Then Allah graced us with His favour and saved us from the chastisement of the scorching wind. 27 Surely we called upon Him before: Surely He is the Benign, the Merciful. 28

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
