But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 as well as all that you cannot see: 39 That it is indeed the speech of an illustrious messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe! 41 Nor is it the speech of a sooth-sayer. Little are ye admonished. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 43 Had Muhammad invented some words against Us. 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand, 45 Then would have cut off his heart’s artery. 46 Then none among you would be his saviour. 47 Indeed, it is a Reminder to those who fear Allah, 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran).
