The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Successful indeed are the believers; 1 those who humble themselves in their prayer, 2 and who turn away from all that is frivolous, 3 And those who pay the Zakat. 4 who strictly guard their private parts 5 Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed - 6 But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors - 7 Those who are faithfully true to their Amanat (all the duties which Allah has ordained, honesty, moral responsibility and trusts etc.) and to their covenants; 8 And those who are watchful of their acts of prayer. 9 Those are the inheritors 10 that will inherit the paradise; [and] therein shall they abide. 11 NOW, INDEED, We create man out of the essence of clay, 12 Then We placed him as a sperm in a firmly established lodging; 13 Then We made the seed a clot, then We made the clot a lump of flesh, then We made (in) the lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, then We caused it to grow into another creation, so blessed be Allah, the best of the creators. 14 Then after that, certainly all of you are to die. 15 Then you will be raised up again on the Resurrection Day. 16 And We have made, above you, seven tracts; and We are never unmindful of (our) Creation. 17 And We send down water from the skies in accordance with a measure [set by Us,] and then We cause it to lodge in the earth: but, behold, We are most certainly able to withdraw this [blessing]! 18 Then We cause to grow thereby gardens of palm trees and grapes for you; you have in them many fruits and from them do you eat; 19 The tree that grows on Mount Sinai yields oil and seasoning for those who eat. 20 And surely in the cattle there is a lesson for you; We give you to drink of what is in their bellies, and many uses there are in them for you, and of them you eat; 21 and upon them and on the ships you are carried. 22
