The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those who range themselves in rows; 1 And those who restrain by reprimanding, 2 and those who recite Our revelations, 3 Verily your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – and the Lord of the sun’s rising points. 5 Behold, We have adorned the skies nearest to the earth with the beauty of stars, 6 and have made them secure against every rebellious, satanic force, 7 (So) they should not strain their ears in the direction of the Exalted Assembly but be cast away from every side, 8 rejected, and theirs is an everlasting chastisement, 9 Save him who snatcheth a fragment, and there pursueth him a piercing flame. 10 So ask them, are they stronger in constitution, or those whom We have created. We have created them of sticky clay. 11 But you wonder, while they mock, 12 and, when reminded, do not remember 13 and when they become aware of a [divine] message, they turn it to ridicule 14 it and say, "It is only plain magic". 15 What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then certainly be raised, 16 and perhaps also our forebears of old?" 17 Say, "You will certainly be brought back to life in disgrace". 18 There is but one Shout, and lo! they behold, 19 They will say, "Ah! Woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 “Yes, this is the Day of Final Decision that you used to deny as a lie.” 21
