Indeed, We created the human. We know the whisperings of his soul, and are closer to him than the jugular vein. 16 When the two receivers receive, sitting on the right and on the left. 17 not a word he utters, but by him is an observer ready. 18 and (the human being will be told), "This is what you had been trying to run away from". 19 And the trumpet blast will sound: It would be the Day of Doom. 20 Each person will arrive attended by an [angel] to drive him on and another to bear witness. 21 “You were indeed neglectful of this, so We have removed the veil for you, and your eyesight is sharp this day.” 22 And his accompanying angel said, “This is the record of your deeds, available with me.” 23 The command was given: “Cast into Hell every hardened, stubborn unbeliever, 24 [every] withholder of good [and] sinful aggressor [and] fomentor of distrust [between man and man - everyone] 25 who has set up another god besides God: cast him into severe punishment" -- 26 ۞ And his comrade shall say, 'Our Lord, I made him not insolent, but he was in far error.' 27 He (Allah) will say: 'Do not dispute before Me. I sent you a warning beforehand. 28 The sentence that cometh from Me cannot be changed, and I am in no wise a tyrant unto the slaves. 29
