▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for him who dreadeth the standing before his Lord will be two Gardens. 46 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 47 (Gardens) with many branches. 48 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 49 In both of them, there are two springs flowing. 50 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors would you then deny? 51 In which will be of every fruit two kinds. 52 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 53 [In such a paradise the blest will dwell,] reclining upon carpets lined with rich brocade; and the fruit of both these gardens will be within easy reach. 54 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 55 In the midst of these shall be maidens with modest, restrained glances; maidens whom no man or jinn has ever touched before. 56 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 57 [When you are promised splendours] as though [of] rubies and [of] pearls 58 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 59 Is there any Reward for Good - other than Good? 60 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 61 And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens - 62 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 63 two [gardens] of the deepest green. 64 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 65 In [each of] these two [gardens] will two springs gush forth. 66 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 67 In both of them there will be fruit trees and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 69 therein maidens good and comely -- 70 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 71 Companions restrained (as to their glances), in (goodly) pavilions;- 72 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 73 Whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them - 74 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 75 Reclining on green Cushions and rich Carpets of beauty. 76 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 77 HALLOWED be thy Sustainer's name, full of majesty and glory! 78

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
