The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the heaven, and the night-visitor, 1 And what can make you know what is the night comer? 2 It is the star that shines with a piercing brightness -- 3 There is not a soul that does not have a guardian over it. 4 So man must consider from what he has been created. 5 he has been created out of a seminal fluid 6 Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs. 7 Surely (Allah) is able to bring him back (to life)! 8 The Day that (all) things secret will be tested, 9 he will have no power, nor anyone to help him. 10 By heaven of the returning rain, 11 and by the earth ever bursting with verdure, 12 the Quran is the final word, 13 and it is certainly not a jest. 14 Verily, they are but plotting a plot (against you O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)). 15 But I too am devising a plan. 16 So respite the unbelievers; delay with them awhile. 17
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Comet (Al-Taareq). Sent down in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
