Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
No, by the moon! 32 By the receding night 33 By the dawn when it lightens! 34 surely (Hell) is one of the greatest Signs, 35 A warning to mortals, 36 To any of you that chooses to go forward (by working righteous deeds), or to remain behind (by commiting sins), 37 Every soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 except those of the right hand 39 who in their gardens will be enquiring 40 and will ask of the criminals, 41 “What took you into the hell?” 42 They will answer: "We did not fulfil our devotional obligations, 43 and we did not feed the poor; 44 we indulged in vain arguments along with those who indulged in them; 45 And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain." 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 What aileth them, therefore, that they are from the admonition turning away? 49 like startled wild donkeys 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 Never! In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 By no means! Verily this Qur'an is an admonition. 54 So whosoever willeth may heed it. 55 And what advice will they heed, except if Allah wills? Only He deserves to be feared, and His only is the greatness of forgiving. 56

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
