HAST THOU, then, ever considered him who turns away [from remembering Us, and cares for no more than the life of this world,] 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Has he not been made acquainted with what was written in the scriptures of Moses? 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 And that his striving shall soon be seen- 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 And that thy Lord, He is the goal; 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 It is He who has created spouses, male and female, 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 and that upon Him rests the second growth, 47 and that it is He alone who frees from want and causes to possess; 48 and that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius, 49 And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people), 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 And the people of Nuh before; surely they were most unjust and inordinate; 52 He plunged the villages 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 About which, then, of thy Sustainer's powers canst thou [still] remain in doubt? 55 This is a warning just like those of former times. 56 The Day of Judgment is drawing nearer. 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 Marvel ye then at this statement, 59 And will you laugh and not weep? 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
