Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ (Inevitable) cometh (to pass) the Command of Allah: seek ye not then to hasten it: Glory to Him, and far is He above having the partners they ascribe unto Him! 1 He sends down the angels with the Spirit (Gabriel) by His command to those of His worshipers whom He chooses, (saying:) 'Warn, there is no god except Me, therefore fear Me' 2 He created the heavens and the earth with Truth. Exalted is He above whatever they associate with Allah in His Divinity. 3 He hath created man from a drop of fluid, yet behold! he is an open opponent. 4 And the cattle, He has created them for you; in them there is warmth (warm clothing), and numerous benefits, and of them you eat. 5 In them there is beauty for you when you bring them home and when you lead them to pasture. 6 They carry your loads to places which you could otherwise not reach without great hardship, surely, your Lord is compassionate and merciful, 7 (He has created for you) horses, mules, and donkeys, which you ride and as an adornment; and He creates what you do not know. 8 And the middle path rightly leads to Allah – any other path is wayward; and had He willed He would have brought all of you upon guidance. 9
