We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
