The warnings came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 but they rejected all Our miracles. So We seized them in the way that a Majestic and All-powerful One would. 42 Are your unbelievers (of Makkah) any better than they? Or have you been granted any immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Do they say, "We shall be victorious because we are united?" 44 The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee. 45 Nay, the hour is their promised time, and the hour shall be most grievous and bitter. 46 Verily, the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.) are in error (in this world) and will burn (in the Hell-fire in the Hereafter). 47 On the Day when they shall be dragged into the fire on their faces, [they will be told:] "Taste now the touch of hell-fire!" 48 Indeed, all things We created with predestination. 49 And Our Order is but one word like the flashing of an eye. 50 We did indeed destroy many like you. Is there, then, any who will heed? 51 And everything they did is in written records. 52 and everything, great and small, is inscribed. 53 Surely those who shun disobedience will dwell amidst Gardens and running streams 54 honorably seated in the presence of the All-dominant King. 55
