The Fig (Al-Teen)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By the fig and the olive, 1 By Mount Sinai, 2 and by this inviolable city, Mecca. 3 We indeed created Man in the fairest stature 4 Then We return him to the lowest of the low, 5 Save those who believe and do good works, and theirs is a reward unfailing. 6 What, then, [O man,] could henceforth cause thee to give the lie to this moral law? 7 Is not God the most equitable of all judges? 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
