And the dwellers of Al Hijr also belied the Messengers. 80 We also gave them Our Signs, yet they turned away from them. 81 And they used to hew out dwellings from the hills, (wherein they dwelt) secure. 82 So the rumbling overtook them in the morning; 83 Then availed them not that which they had been earning. 84 And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness. 85 Your Lord is the Creator, the Knower. 86 And certainly We have given you seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the grand Quran. 87 Do not stretch your eyes to that We have given pairs of them to enjoy, nor sorrow for them, and lower your wing to the believers. 88 And say: 'I am the plain warner' 89 such as We send down for those who are divisive, 90 Those who made the Quran into shreds. 91 Therefore, by your Lord, We shall question every one of them. 92 As to what they did. 93 Promulgate thou that which thou art commanded, and turn away from the associaters. 94 We shall help you against those who mock you 95 who assert that there are, side by side with God, other divine powers as well: for in time they will come to know [the truth]. 96 We know indeed thy breast is straitened by the things they say. 97 but extol thou thy Sustainer's limitless glory and praise Him, and be of those who prostrate themselves [before Him] in adoration, 98 and worship thy Sustainer till death comes to thee. 99
