Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Have you considered him who calls the judgment a lie? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 And does not urge (others) to feed the poor. 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 Those who are neglectful of their prayer. 5 Those who do things only to be seen by others. 6 And withhold [simple] assistance. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
