It is He who gave you hearing, sight, and hearts, but only few of you give thanks. 78 And He it is Who multiplied you in the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered. 79 And it is He who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of the night and the day. Then will you not reason? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what the men of old said. 81 They say: What! When we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised? 82 We and our fathers were promised this before; it is nothing but ancient lore!" 83 Say: Unto Whom (belongeth) the earth and whosoever is therein, if ye have knowledge? 84 They will say: "It is Allah's!" Say: "Will you not then remember?" 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty Throne?' 86 They will say: "God." Say: "Then why do you not obey and fear Him?" 87 Say, “In Whose hand is the control over all things, and He provides refuge, and none can provide refuge against Him, if you know?” 88 They will say, 'God's.' Say: 'How then are you bewitched? 89 We have sent them the truth and they, certainly, are liars. 90 Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition, 91 (He is) the Knower of the Unseen and the Seen, High Exalted be He above that they associate. 92

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
