'O Messengers, eat of the good things and do righteousness; surely I know the things you do. 51 And verily! This your religion (of Islamic Monotheism) is one religion, and I am your Lord, so keep your duty to Me. 52 But they (mankind) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in its tenets. 53 Wherefore leave thou them in their bewilderment for a season. 54 Do they think that what We extend to them of wealth and children 55 Are quickly giving them goodness? In fact, they do not know. 56 Only those who are, out of fear of Him, humble before their Lord, 57 Those who believe in the Signs of their Lord; 58 And those who join not anyone (in worship) as partners with their Lord; 59 And those who give what they give and their hearts fear for they have to return to their Lord. 60 These people hasten to perform goodness, and it is they who shall reach it first. 61 We charge no soul with more than it can bear. We have a record which clearly shows the truth and they will not be wronged. 62 Nay, but their hearts are in ignorance of this (Qur'an), and they have other works, besides, which they are doing; 63 Till when We grasp their luxurious ones with the punishment, behold! they supplicate. 64 "Do not supplicate for help today; you will not be rescued by Us; 65 Time and again were My messages conveyed unto you, but [every time] you would turn about on your heels 66 In arrogance; talking nonsense about the Quran, and left him like one telling fables by night. 67 Is it then that they do not ponder over what is said, or is it that there has come to them that which did not come to their fathers of old? 68 Or is it, perchance, that they have not recognized their Apostle, and so they disavow him? 69 Or say they: There is a madness in him? Nay, but he bringeth them the Truth; and most of them are haters of the Truth. 70 But if the truth were in accord with their own likes and dislikes, the heavens and the earth would surely have fallen into ruin, and all that lives in them [would long ago have perished]! Nay, [in this divine writ] We have conveyed unto them all that they ought to bear in mind: and from this their reminder they [heedlessly] turn away! 71 Or, is it that thou askest of them any maintenance? The maintenance of thy Lord is better, and He is the Best of providers. 72 And indeed, you invite them to a straight path. 73 And verily, those who believe not in the Hereafter are indeed deviating far astray from the Path (true religion Islamic Monotheism). 74 ۞ If We had mercy on them and removed their afflictions, they would still persist in their insolence, blindly wandering. 75 Already have We grasped them with punishment, but they humble not themselves unto their Lord, nor do they pray, 76 Until when We have opened before them a door of severe punishment, immediately they will be therein in despair. 77
