Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
Nay, and by the moon, 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 Verily, that [hell-fire] is Indeed one of the great [forewarnings] 35 A warning unto humankind 36 Whoever of you desires to progress or lag behind. 37 Each soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 Except those of the right hand 39 In gardens they will ask one another 40 Concerning the guilty: 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 and we did not feed the poor; 44 And we have been wading with the waders. 45 "And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 "Till death overcame us." 47 So the intercession of the intercessors will not benefit them. 48 Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition? 49 as if they were startled asses 50 fleeing -- before a lion? 51 Indeed, everyone of them desires to have sheets of revelations unfolded before them -- 52 No! But they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 Then whoever wills will remember it. 55 And they will not remember except that Allah wills. He is worthy of fear and adequate for [granting] forgiveness. 56
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
