The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 1

All praise is due to God, the Lord of the Universe; 2 Most Gracious, Most Merciful; 3 Sovereign of the Day of Requital. 4 You (alone) we worship; and You (alone) we rely for help. 5 Guide us to the straight path: 6 The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger, nor of those who went astray. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
