The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 who determined and guided, 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 He who fears will mind, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
