To God belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. On the day when the Hour of Doom arrives, the followers of falsehood will be lost. 27 And thou shalt see every nation hobbling on their knees, every nation being summoned unto its Book: 'Today you shall be recompensed for that you were doing. 28 This Our Book pronounceth against you with truth. Lo! We have caused (all) that ye did to be recorded. 29 Then, as for those who believed and worked righteous works, their Lord will cause them to enter into His mercy: that is a manifest achievement. 30 But as for those who were bent on denying the truth, [they will be told:] "Were not My messages conveyed to you? And withal, you gloried in your arrogance, and so you became people lost in sin: 31 And when it was said: Lo! Allah's promise is the truth, and there is no doubt of the Hour's coming, ye said: We know not what the Hour is. We deem it naught but a conjecture, and we are by no means convinced. 32 And the evils of their deeds appeared to them, and the punishment they used to mock at encompassed them. 33 It will be said to them, "This Day We shall forget you, as you yourselves forgot that you would meet this Day. Your abode shall be the Fire, and you shall have no helpers. 34 That is because ye took the revelations of Allah scoffingly, and there beguiled you the life of the world. Today, therefore, they will not be taken forth therefrom, nor will they be suffered to please Allah. 35 Then Praise be to Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, Lord and Cherisher of all the Worlds! 36 His is the supremacy in the heavens and the earth; and He is the all-mighty and all-wise. 37
