Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

We sent Noah to his people, and he said: "O people worship God; you have no other god but He; for I fear the retribution of the great Day may fall on you." 59 The leaders of his people said: "Verily, we see you in plain error." 60 Said [Noah]: "O my people! There is no error in me, but I am an apostle from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 61 I bring to you the messages of my Lord, and give you sincere advice, for I know from God what you do not know. 62 Does it seem strange to you that a reminder from your Lord should be sent to a man, from among you, to warn you so that you might receive mercy?" 63 But they belied him, so We saved him and those along with him in the ship, and We drowned those who belied Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.). They were indeed a blind people. 64
