Do you not realize that We have sent Satan to incite the unbelievers to sin. 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 On the Day of Judgment, when the pious people will be brought into the presence of the Beneficent God as the guests of honor 85 and drive the evildoers into Gehenna herding, 86 No one will have power to intercede, except for those who have permission from the Lord of Mercy. 87 They say, "The Gracious One has begotten a son." 88 You have indeed advanced something hideous! 89 The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation 90 That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. 91 It does not befit the Most Compassionate Lord that He should take a son. 92 None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant; 93 Assuredly He hath comprehended them and counted them a full counting. 94 and every one of them will appear before Him on Resurrection Day in a lonely state. 95 Surely those who believe and do deeds of righteousness -- unto them the All-merciful shall assign love. 96 So We have only made it easy in your tongue that you may give good news thereby to those who guard (against evil) and warn thereby a vehemently contentious people. 97 And how many a generation We destroyed before them! Dost thou perceive so much as one of them, or hear of them a whisper? 98
