It is He who gave you hearing, sight, and hearts, but only few of you give thanks. 78 And it is He Who has spread you in the earth, and towards Him you are to be raised. 79 And it is He who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of the night and the day. Then will you not reason? 80 Nay, but they say the like of that which said the men of old; 81 They say: When we are dead and have become (mere) dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised again? 82 “Indeed this promise was given to us and before us to our forefathers – this is nothing but stories of earlier people.” 83 Say: "If you have knowledge, 'to whom belongs the earth' and, 'whoever is in it? '" 84 They will say: Allah's. Say: Will you not then mind? 85 Ask them: "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, the Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 Thereupon they will say, “Such greatness is only that of Allah”; say, “So why do you not fear?” 87 Say: "In whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things, and who is it that protects, the while there is no protection against Him? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 88 They will say, "All this belongs to God." Say to them, "How are you then deluded?" 89 Aye! We have brought them the truth and verily they are the liars. 90 Never did Allah take to Himself a son, and never was there with him any (other) god-- in that case would each god have certainly taken away what he created, and some of them would certainly have overpowered others; glory be to Allah above what they describe! 91 Knower of the Invisible and the Visible! and Exalted be He over all that they ascribe as partners (unto Him)! 92
