The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 It may be that thou tormentest thyself (O Muhammad) because they believe not. 3 If We will, We can send down a Sign to them from heaven, so their necks will be humbled to it. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 So they have surely belied; wherefore anon there shall come unto them the truth of that whereat they were wont to mock. 6 Do they not see the earth, how We grow all kinds of noble things upon it? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
