۞ And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued." 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 They are always harassing us. 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 So We turned them out of gardens and springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 But We drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
