The people of Noah [too] gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 Their account is only with my Lord, if you could perceive 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 Then after it, We drowned the rest. 120 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
