And Nuh's people belied the sent ones. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They said, “Shall we believe in you, whereas the abject people are with you?” 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 Their account is only with my Lord, if you could perceive 113 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
