And the disbelievers said, “Will we, when we and our forefathers have turned into dust, be removed again?” 67 It was promised to us and to our fathers before us. It is only ancient legends." 68 Say thou: travel in the land and behold what like hath been the end of the culprits. 69 Do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed at their schemes. 70 Yet they say: "When will this promise come to pass? (Tell Us) if you speak the truth." 71 Say: "Perhaps that which you wish to hasten on, may be close behind you. 72 Lo! thy Lord is full of bounty for mankind, but most of them do not give thanks. 73 The Lord knows full well what they conceal in their hearts and what they disclose: 74 And all the hidden secrets of the heavens and the earth are (written) in a clear Book. (The Preserved Tablet) 75 Surely this Qur'an explains to the Children of Israel most of the matters concerning which they have disagreements 76 And it certainly is a Guide and a Mercy to those who believe. 77 Certainly your Lord will decide between them in His wisdom, He is the Almighty, the All Knowing, 78 Wherefore put thy trust in Allah; verily thou art on manifest truth. 79 Surely you do not make the dead to hear, and you do not make the deaf to hear the call when they go back retreating. 80 Nor can you be a guide to the blind out of their error; you cannot make to bear (any one) except those who believe in Our communications, so they submit. 81 ۞ When God's word is justly carried out against them, We will produce a dabbah from the earth which will tell them that mankind had no real faith in Our signs. 82
