Have you not seen how Allah is exalted by those in the heavens and earth, and the birds with outspread wings? He knows its prayers and its exaltations and Allah has knowledge of the things they do. 41 And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and to Allah is the destination. 42 Art thou not aware that it is God who causes the clouds to move onward, then joins them together, then piles them up in masses, until thou can see rain come forth from their midst? And He it is who sends down from the skies, by degrees, mountainous masses [of clouds] charged with hail, striking therewith whomever He wills and averting it from whomever He wills, [the while] the flash of His lightning well-nigh deprives [men of their] sight! 43 Allah causeth the revolution of the day and the night. Lo! herein is indeed a lesson for those who see. 44 God created every creature from water. Some crawl upon their bellies, others walk on two legs, and others walk on four. God creates what He pleases. He has power over all things. 45 Certainly We have revealed clear communications, and Allah guides whom He pleases to the right way. 46 They say: 'We believe in Allah and the Messenger and obey' But a party of them turn away after this. Those are not believers. 47 When they are called to Allah and His Messenger so that the Messenger may judge between them, a party of them turns away. 48 And if right had been theirs, they would have come to him readily. 49 Is there a sickness in their hearts, or are they full of doubt? Or do they fear that God and His Messenger will be unjust to them? The truth is that they themselves are wrongdoers. 50
