And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
