SAY [O Muhammad]: "I am only a warner; and there is no deity whatever save God, the One, who holds absolute sway over all that exists, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 from which you are turning away. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Assembly's dispute. 69 "Only this has been inspired to me, that I am a plain warner." 70 When your Lord said to the angels: 'I am creating a human from clay, 71 and when I give it proper shape and blow My spirit into it, bow down in prostration to him," 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them: 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?" 75 He said: I am better than he; Thou hast created me of fire, and him Thou didst create of dust. 76 Said He: "Go forth, then, from this [angelic state] - for, behold, thou art henceforth accursed, 77 And surely My curse is on you to the day of judgment. 78 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 79 Answered He: "Verily, so [be it:] thou shalt be among those who are granted respite 80 Until the Day of the time appointed. 81 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all, 82 Except Thy servants from among them, the purified ones. 83 Said Allah, “So this is the truth; and I speak only the truth.” – 84 That I will fill Hell with you [Iblis (Satan)] and those of them (mankind) that follow you, together." 85 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "No wage do I ask of you for this (the Quran), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist). 86 This is nothing else but a reminder to all the worlds, 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
