ART THOU NOT aware of how far they who call God's messages in question have lost sight of the truth? 69 Those who belie the Book and that message wherewith We sent Our apostles, presently they shall come to know. 70 when fetters and chains shall be on their necks, and they shall be dragged into 71 In boiling water; they will then be ignited* in the fire. (Like fuel – see verse 2:24) 72 They will then be asked: "Where are they you took as partners 73 other than Allah' They will reply: 'They have gone astray from us. Indeed what we used to call upon before is nothing' Accordingly, Allah leads the unbelievers astray. 74 'That is because you rejoiced in the earth without right, and were exultant. 75 Enter the gates of Hell to stay therein forever. The abode of the arrogant is evil. 76 So be patient, [O Muhammad]; indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And whether We show you some of what We have promised them or We take you in death, it is to Us they will be returned. 77 We sent other Messengers before you; of some, We have already told you, of others We have not told you. Yet it was not for any Messenger to bring a verse except by the permission of Allah. And when the command of Allah comes the matter will be justly decided; and the vaindoers will be lost. 78
