Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Qaf. By the Glorious Qur'an, 1 Indeed, they are astonished that a warner should have come to them from among themselves. So these deniers of the truth say, "This is indeed a strange thing, 2 When we have died and have become dust, [we will return to life]? That is a distant return." 3 We know all that the earth takes away of them, and a Book of Records is with Us. 4 Nay, but they have denied the truth (this Quran) when it has come to them, so they are in a confused state (can not differentiate between right and wrong). 5 Have they not observed the sky above them and marked how We have built it and adorned it, leaving no flaws in it; 6 (Have they not seen) how We have spread out the earth, placed on it firm mountains and have made all kinds of flourishing pairs of plants grow? 7 A perception and an understanding, for every bondman who inclines. 8 And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We produce therewith gardens and grain (every kind of harvests) that are reaped. 9 And tall date-palms with their spathes pile on pile 10 as a provision for human beings; and by [all] this We bring dead land to life. Such shall be the Resurrection. 11 Before them, the people of Noah and the people of Rass denied this truth; and so did the people of Thamud. 12 Ad, the Pharaoh, Lot, 13 And the dwellers of the grove and the people of Tuba; all rejected the apostles, so My threat came to pass. 14 Were We then weary with the first Creation, that they should be in confused doubt about a new Creation? 15
