We swear that We have created the human being and We know what his soul whispers to him. We are closer to him than even his jugular vein. 16 and the two recording angels are recording, sitting on the right and the left: 17 Not a word does he (or she) utter, but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it). 18 And [then,] the twilight of death brings with it the [full] truth that [very thing, O man,] from which thou wouldst always look away! 19 And the trumpet blast will sound: It would be the Day of Doom. 20 And every person will come forth along with an (angel) to drive (him), and an (angel) to bear witness. 21 You were heedless of this. Now We have removed your veil and so your vision today is sharp. 22 His companion attendant will say, "I have here his record ready." 23 Do cast into hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 who is an opponent of good, a suspicious transgressor 25 Who set up with Allah another god. So cast him ye twain into the torment severe. 26 ۞ His companion (Satan devil)] will say: "Our Lord! I did not push him to transgress, (in disbelief, oppression, and evil deeds) but he was himself in error far astray." 27 "Do not argue in My presence. I had announced the promise of doom in advance. 28 The sentence that cometh from Me cannot be changed, and I am in no wise a tyrant unto the slaves. 29
