The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the Event inevitable cometh to pass, 1 (and none denies its descending) 2 It will bring low (some); (and others) it will exalt; 3 When the earth shall be shaken to its depths, 4 And the mountains will be powdered to dust. 5 they will become like dust scattered around. 6 And ye will be three kinds: 7 Those of the right hand -- how (happy) will be those of the right hand! 8 And (then) those on the left hand; what of those on the left hand? 9 But the foremost shall be [they who in life were] the foremost [in faith and good works]: 10 those are they brought near (to their Lord) 11 In the gardens of bliss. 12 A number of people from those of old, 13 And a few from those of later times. 14 (They will be) on Thrones encrusted (with gold and precious stones), 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 immortal youths going round about them 17 with goblets, jugs and cups of crystal clear wine 18 (no brows throbbing, no intoxication) 19 And fruit; that they may choose. 20 And the meat of fowl, from whatever they desire. 21 And (there are) fair ones with wide, lovely eyes, 22 The likes unto pearls hidden. 23 As reward for what they used to do. 24 They will not hear any unnecessary or sinful talk 25 (Naught) but the saying: Peace, (and again) Peace. 26 And those on the right – how (fortunate) are those on the right! 27 They shall be in the midst of thornless lote trees, 28 and banana trees, 29 And a shade ever-spread. 30 and outpoured waters, 31 And plenty of fruits. 32 Neither intercepted nor forbidden, 33 And couches raised up. 34 and the noble maidens that We have created 35 So made them as maidens. 36 chastely amorous, 37 For the Companions of the Right Hand. 38

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
