And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
