A multitude of those (on the Right Hand) will be from the first generation (who embraced Islam). 39 And a multitude of those (on the Right Hand) will be from the later times (generations). 40 And those on the left - how are those on the left! 41 In scorching wind and scalding water 42 And shadow of black smoke, 43 Neither cool nor honorable. 44 Lo! heretofore they were effete with luxury 45 And used to persist in the awful sin. 46 And they were wont to say: when we have died and become dust and bones, shall we, then, verily be raised? 47 And our forefathers [as well]?" 48 Say: 'Those of ancient times and those of later times 49 "All will certainly be gathered together for the meeting appointed for a Day well-known. 50 Then you, the erring ones and those that gave the lie to the Truth, 51 will eat from the fruit of the tree of Zaqqum, 52 and you shall fill therewith your bellies 53 and shall drink boiling water on top of that. 54 Drinking even as the camel drinketh. 55 This is their reception on the Day of Justice. 56 We have created you, then why would you not confirm it? 57 Just consider the semen that you emit, 58 Did you create it or was it We who created it? 59 We have decreed death to you all, and We are not unable, 60 That We may substitute others like unto you and produce you into that which ye know not. 61 You certainly knew about (your) first development. Why do you not take heed? 62 Have you seen what you sow? 63 Is it ye who foster it, or are We the Fosterer? 64 Had We wanted, We could have crushed it to bits and you would have been left to lament, 65 Surely we are burdened with debt: 66 "Indeed are we shut out (of the fruits of our labour)" 67 Have you ever considered the water which you drink? 68 Is it you that send it down from the clouds or We? 69 If We willed, We verily could make it salt (and undrinkable), why then do you not give thanks (to Allah)? 70 Have you considered the fire which you strike? 71 Is it you who have brought into being the tree that serves as its fuel - or are We the cause of its coming into being? 72 We have made it a reminder and provision for the travelers, 73 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 74

Click or tap on "random" to go to any random page. Click or tap the triangle to the left of "random" to go to a random page before the current page, or the triangle to the right to go to a random page after the current page. Using these features of ColorfulQuran.com, you can use the right triangle or arrowhead to skim through the entire Holy Book from the first Surah, The Key (Al-Fatihah), to the last, The People (An-Nas), in a few minutes while stopping at random pages in between. This will make your readings cluster more on Juz Amma's short surahs at the end of the Quran. You can also do the same in reverse order using the left triangle or arrowhead, which will cluster your readings more at the beginning of the Holy Quran.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
