۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 Then is relief, and flowers – and Gardens of peace. 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
