No affliction falls except by the permission of Allah. For those who believe in Allah, Allah will guide his heart. Allah has knowledge of all things. 11 Obey God and obey His Apostle. If you turn away, the duty of the Apostle is to convey the message clearly. 12 Allah there is no god but He; in Allah should the believers put all their trust. 13 O People who Believe! Some of your wives and children are your enemies, therefore be wary of them; and if you pardon and overlook and forgive, then indeed Allah is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful. 14 Your worldly goods and your children are but a trial and a temptation, whereas with God there is a tremendous reward. 15 So keep your duty to Allah and fear Him as much as you can; listen and obey; and spend in charity, that is better for yourselves. And whosoever is saved from his own covetousness, then they are the successful ones. 16 If you set apart for Allah a goodly portion, He will double it for you and forgive you; and Allah is the Multiplier (of rewards), Forbearing, 17 He knows that which is beyond the ken of perception as well as that which can be perceived. He is the Most Mighty, the Most Wise. 18
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
