So what is [the matter] with those who disbelieve, hastening [from] before you, [O Muhammad], 36 towards thee on the right hand and on the left hand in knots? 37 Does every person among them aspire to enter a garden of pleasure? 38 Nay, verily. Lo! We created them from what they know. 39 But nay! I call to witness [Our being] the Sustainer of all the points of sunrise and sunset: verily, well able are We 40 to substitute a better than they; We shall not be outstripped. 41 Then leave them alone to plunge and play until they encounter that day of theirs which they are promised, 42 The Day whereon they will issue from their sepulchres in sudden haste as if they were rushing to a goal-post (fixed for them),- 43 their eyes are humbled and they are covered with humiliation. Such is the Day that they were promised. 44
