Noah said: 'My Lord, they have rebelled against me and followed he whose wealth and offspring increase him only in loss, 21 And who have plotted a tremendous plot 22 They said: “Do not abandon your deities; do not abandon Wadd, nor Suwa, nor Yaghuth, nor Yauq, nor Nasr. 23 They have misled many and the unjust will achieve nothing but more error". 24 And so, because of their sins, they were drowned [in the great flood,] and were doomed to suffer the fire [of the hereafter]; and they found none who could succour them against God. 25 And Nuh (Noah) said: "My Lord! Leave not one of the disbelievers on the earth! 26 Surely, if You leave them they will mislead Your worshipers and father none but the immoral, and unbelievers. 27 My Lord! Forgive me and my parents and him who entereth my house believing, and believing men and believing women, and increase not the wrong-doers in aught save ruin. 28
