In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
O thou shrouded in thy mantle, 1 arise and give warning! 2 And proclaim the Purity of your Lord. 3 cleanse your clothes, 4 And uncleanliness avoid 5 And show not favour, seeking wordly gain! 6 And for the sake of your Lord, be patient. 7 For when the Trump is sounded 8 So that is a tough day. 9 Dolorous for the unbelievers. 10 Leave Me alone with he whom I created 11 and appointed for him ample wealth 12 And children to be by his side! 13 And made things easy for them. 14 and who still greedily desires that I should bestow upon him more. 15 No! Indeed, he has been toward Our verses obstinate. 16 I will make a distressing punishment overtake him. 17 For he thought and he plotted;- 18 death seize him, how he determined! 19 Again, death seize him, how he determined! 20 Then he looked round; 21 frowned and scowled; 22 Then he turned back and was proud; 23 And said, “This is nothing but magic learnt from earlier men.” 24 This is naught but the word of a mortal. 25 I will cast him into Hell-fire 26 And what will make you know exactly what Hell-fire is? 27 It leaveth naught; it spareth naught 28 Burning the skins! 29 Over it are nineteen keepers. 30 We have appointed only angels to be wardens of the Fire, and their number have We made to be a stumbling-block for those who disbelieve; that those to whom the Scripture hath been given may have certainty, and that believers may increase in faith; and that those to whom the Scripture hath been given and believers may not doubt; and that those in whose hearts there is disease, and disbelievers, may say: What meaneth Allah by this similitude?
