Al-Insan 2 of 2
Indeed We have sent down the Qur’an upon you, in stages. 23 so be thou patient under the judgment of thy Lord, and obey not one of them, sinner or unbeliever. 24 And remember the Name of thy Lord at dawn and in the evening 25 And during night, prostrate yourself to Him (i.e. the offering of Maghrib and 'Isha' prayers), and glorify Him a long night through (i.e. Tahajjud prayer). 26 Verily they love (the good of this world) that is hastily obtainable and are oblivious of the burdensome Day ahead of them. 27 [They will not admit to themselves that] it We who have created them and strengthened their make - and [that] if it be Our will We can replace them entirely with others of their kind. 28 This surely is a reminder: Therefore whosoever desires may take the way to his Lord. 29 But you will not unless God wills; surely God is ever All-knowing, All-wise. 30 He maketh whomsoever He listeth to enter His mercy. And the wrong-doers! for them He hath gotten ready a torment afflective. 31
