[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 High has He reared its vault and formed it in accordance with what it was meant to be; 28 and He has made dark its night and brought forth its light of day. 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 He draweth out therefrom its moisture and its pasture; 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 Then, when the Great Catastrophe comes 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 but one who fears to stand before his Lord and restrained himself from base desires, 40 Then surely the garden-- that is the abode. 41 They will ask you [Prophet] about the Hour, saying, "When it will come to pass?", 42 What do you have to do with explaining it? 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 Thou art but [sent] to warn those who stand in awe of it. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat). Sent down in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
