Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the sky is cleft asunder; 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 And when the seas are erupted 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O man! what has beguiled you from your Lord, the Gracious one, 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 having put thee together in whatever form He willed [thee to have]? 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 Generous and recording, 11 They know whatsoever ye do. 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 and which they shall not [be able to] evade. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Again, what could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
