O you who have believed, do not consume usury, doubled and multiplied, but fear Allah that you may be successful. 130 And fear the Fire, which is prepared for the disbelievers. 131 And obey Allah and the messenger, that ye may find mercy. 132 ۞ And vie with one another, hastening to forgiveness from your Lord, and to a garden whose breadth is as the heavens and earth, prepared for the godfearing 133 who spend their property for the cause of God in prosperity as well as in adversity and who also harness their anger and forgive the people. God loves the righteous ones. 134 And those who, if they commit a shameful act or some wrong against themselves, remember God and seek forgiveness for their sins: For who can forgive except God? They should not be perverse about their doings, knowingly. 135 The reward of such will be forgiveness from their Lord, and Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide for ever - a bountiful reward for workers! 136 Divers institutions have passed away before you; journey in the land, and behold how was the end of those that cried lies. 137 This (Quran) is a reminder for the people and a guide and advice for the pious. 138 Do not be discouraged or grieved. You alone will have true dignity if you only are true believers. 139 If a wound touches you, a like wound already has touched the heathen; such days We deal out in turn among men, and that God may know who are the believers, and that He may take witnesses from among you; and God loves not the evildoers; 140 And that He may purge those who believe and deprive the unbelievers of blessings. 141 Did you think that you would enter Paradise even though Allah has not yet seen who among you strove hard in His way and remained steadfast? 142 And verily ye used to wish for death before ye met it (in the field). Now ye have seen it with your eyes! 143
