Al-nahl 6 of 16
And those that emigrated in God's cause after they were wronged -- We shall surely lodge them in this world in a goodly lodging, and the wage of the world to come is greater, did they but know; 41 (For) those who persevere and place their trust in their Lord. 42 We sent before you none (as apostles) but men, to whom We sent revelations. In case you are unaware, enquire of those who are keepers of the Oracles of God. 43 We had Sent them with miracles and Books; and We have sent to you this Reminder so that you may explain distinctly to men what was sent down to them: They may haply reflect. 44 Then, do those who have planned evil deeds feel secure that Allah will not cause the earth to swallow them or that the punishment will not come upon them from where they do not perceive? 45 Or that He may seize them while they move here and there, for they cannot escape? 46 Or, that He will not seize them, a little at a time and destroy them? Indeed, your Lord is Clement, the Most Merciful. 47 HAVE, THEN, they [who deny the truth] never considered any of the things that God has created [how] their shadows turn right and left, prostrating themselves before God and utterly submissive [to His will]? 48 And to Allah prostate all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, of the live moving creatures and the angels, and they are not proud [i.e. they worship their Lord (Allah) with humility]. 49 they fear their Sustainer high above them, and do whatever they are bidden to do. ۩ 50

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
